Abstract

This workshop is intended for participants who are interested in technology-oriented examination questions using graphics calculators and/or computers. The papers to be presented in the workshop will involve activities through which students can understand abstract and difficult concepts better when graphics calculators are used in the classroom prior to examinations.For countries where traditional "entrance examinations" are still in place these papers will help guide students in preparing for examinations and will assist educators in moving towards technology-based examinations. Some papers will include applications involving real-world problems when graphics calculators are allowed in exams and other papers will involve mathematical exploration which is crucial for the students' learning process.
