Abstract

Multimedia is increasingly used in teaching a variety of subjects. There are, however, pedagogical and mathematical issues which need to be explored further in order to make the use of multimedia more effective. In this talk I will discuss such issues and present supporting case studies from current courses offered by the British Open University.
