Abstract

Abstract This paper discuss about the parallel solution of the two dimensional Poisson equation, which is used to solve the heat distribution problem by using the Jacobi iteration method. The domain decomposition approach will be used to determine the domain for each processor in parallel. The parallel Poisson model will be run on the distributed workstation, which connected together in the interconnection network by using the Message Passing Interface.
