Abstract

Telepresence of computer algebra systems attracts much attention in the fields of tele-lecture and tele-conferencing, because it drastically improves the understanding of a real symbolic computation for mathematical thinking.

We have started a project of making remote control system for computer algebra systems by using SCS(space collaboration system) in Japan. The main purpose of this system is to show real time symbolic computation to remote students for education. This system will contribute mathematics education internationally. We are still developing this system now. In this presentation, we describe prototype system and experiments.
